When choosing Pleasant Homes, we ended up with a much nicer looking product overall. Solitaire Lodge started out as a camp design with mobile units. I then saw an Ad for Pleasant Homes and contacted Linda. From there, they took my floor plan and designed the lodge that arrived in 4 units and was completed on-site. The design team handled the building code requirements, and we ended up with a much nicer looking product overall. Simon and his team handled the on-site stage of the project in a very professional manner with few disruptions. The units were delivered on-time and were set-up as per the program. Pleasant Homes’ follow-up regarding a small number of defects was also handled timely and with no more effort than an email to Simon. The cost of Pleasant Homes’ contract was completed as per their quoted price with only a small variance.”

My experience working with Gary and the team at Pleasant Homes began because of a horrible situation. Dealing with a fire in one’s home creates a lot of unknowns for a homeowner to deal with that can make the experience seem impossible to deal with. Walking into the Pleasant Homes office, for the first time, made things seem possible again. From deciding on the model of the home, to its colours, floors, cabinets and counters, Gary and the team were supportive. I would even go as far as saying it was enjoyable and fun. They worked with me to widen the entry hall of the home, install a hot-water-on-demand system, and upgrade the appliances. My experience with Pleasant Homes extended past the actual building and delivery of the home. The contractors used were skillful and efficient. When “glitches” happened, Gary was there to support and fix the situations that needed fixing. In all, what started as a dread and trying life experience became one that was enjoyable. Though it was hard to wait for the house to be built, delivered, and connected to utilities, Gary and the team at Pleasant homes delivered what was expected and more.
